Differences Between Butter And Margarine

Just something for you to know.

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings.

DO YOU KNOW…the difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end…gets very interesting! Both have the same amount of calories.

Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5 grams. Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods. Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years.

And now, for Margarine. Very high in Trans fatty acids. Triple risk of coronary heart disease.

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol). Increases the risk of cancers up to five fold.

Lowers quality of breast milk. Decreases immune response. Decreases insulin response.

And here’s the most disturbing fact…. HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC. This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

You can try this yourself:

Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area.

Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things:

*no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

*it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weenie microorganisms will not find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic. Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

UFOs? Or just my imagination?

I honestly hope it’s the latter.

While lovers celebrated Valentine’s day last night, I was at home watching TV while the people around my neighbourhood were “fighting” who has the best fireworks display. The bangs and the booms continues till midnight. I looked outside the window and I can see that they were having a heck of a time with their own fireworks like it was the 4th of July, or perhaps 31st of August for us Malaysians.

Around midnight, I still see at least a dozen different neibourhood area firing up their fireworks into the night sky, the closest being just across the highway from my apartment and the furthest perhaps in Kepong area. Nevertheless, it was noisy.

But among those fireworks, I got a shock of my life when I look up in the night sky above. I saw like between 8-10 hovering lights in the sky, like it was emitting from a flying object. Only that, the flying objects neither have the flight pattern of an aircraft nor a helicopter. It was just just hovering about. It does move, from my point, North to South. The furthest being above MRR2 and beyond, and the nearest was above my apartment in Sri Damansara.

The objects were not in a line. They were quite far apart from each other but in large numbers. Like I said, I saw between 8-10 of them.

Ok, if its an aircraft, there’s no way it can make a 180 degrees u-turn, which one of the objects did. And the lights weren’t blinking either. Helicopter? Well, when about 3 of those objects came close to my area, I opened my windows to check whether I can hear the sound of the rotor or the fan blades. But NOOOO. No sound coming out of it at all. Besides, if a helicopter made a u-turn, it would take about 10 seconds to turn 180 degrees and fly the opposite direction. But this object made the turn immediately and moves in the opposite direction at quite a fast speed.

And, I never seen a helicopter goes up and down like a yo-yo quite as fast. Like I said earlier, I really hope I’m imagining this.

Too bad I can’t get a clear picture on my camera phone. Well, I don’t have a real camera, so to rely on a camera phone is not good enough. All I got was nothing.

Amidst the fireworks that goes on, I wonder if any of those people saw what I saw. If I saw one flying object, I don’t mind saying that I’m imagining things. But seeing almost a dozen of it hovering about, well, I hope I’m not the only one who saw it.

So people, those of you who think you saw some flying objects above either Damansara Damai, Sri Damansara, Kota Damansara, Kepong or the surrounding area, please let me know that I’m not the only person who saw those flying objects.

Although I’m a paranormal freak, what I saw was just weird. But I like it.
