What Blogging Tools?
I am a frequent blogger. I honestly don’t know why but I simply love writing and sharing my thoughts with anyone. But in order to blog, sometimes I would have to search around for a Wireless hotspot so that I can login into my blog account and start posting my blog.
I have come across a few blogging tools along the way. What I’m currently using now is BlogJet. BlogJet is simple and straight forward offline / online blogging tool. I can start writing my blog while I’m offline and I can save it as a draft in my PC. I can even put up the photos, links and tags while offline. And when I found a wireless hotspot, or back in the office, all I have to do is click on publish and I’m done. This would come in handy when you want to blog quickly.
Other blogging tools that I’ve come across are Flock build-in Blog Tool, w.blogger, Qumana, ScribeFire and RocketPost.
I am downloading Qumana at the moment. It has the closest function as the BlogJet and best of all, it’s free. Oh yeah, BlogJet is a shareware so you have to buy the software, I’m on trial version. Same goes with RocketPost.
For this blog entry, I am trying out the ScribeFire software, which is an extension for Firefox browser and previously known as Performancing. What’s cool about ScribeFire is that it is a plugin for Firefox browser, means it’s easy to use and good functionality. It even have the FTP function so that I can upload photos easily.
W.Blogger is good, but it is user unfriendly for those who don’t know HTML. It is not a WYSIWYG editor like the rest. But still kicks a good punch for hardcore bloggers.
My other web browser is Flock. I love Flock. It’s based on Firefox, known as the social browser for all its build in functions such as Flickr, Blogging tools, Facebook and many other social websites. And its blogging tool is also considered good. I will consider it excellent when it has the FTP uploads functions.
There are a few criteria to look at when choosing a blogging tool:
- WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get)
- FTP upload
- Text formatting
- Easy setup
- Blog site(s) compatibility.
- Free or paid.
Personally, I like 3 of the tools. Flock, ScribeFire and Qumana. I used to really love BlogJet. But it has been giving me problems with text alignments when I publish a blog (in blogger, not wordpress). And too bad it’s not free too. But I still use it because of its user friendliness.
Well, if you feel like having a blogging tool, feel free to check out the links given. Cheers.

It is sad to see that people aren’t exactly safe anymore. What is happening with our country? Are these people going insane? What caused this to happen? I don’t have the answers to those questions. All I want is for the streets to be safe again, at least, safer.
