http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5362275540302229936I can’t remember when was the last time I went to PIKOM’s PC Fair. If I’m not mistaken, my last visit was sometime in 2000 and that was when they held the fair at PWTC. Yup…that was a long time ago.
Having it in KLCC (Convention Center) is better I think. The space is bigger and they have different halls for different products, which is good. Unlike in PWTC whereby the walking area is badly cramped up. But I guess the crowd is more this time, by the thousands.
Just to get to the main entrance took me about 15 minutes. The line was long but moving fast. Actually, we were not lining up for anything, but in fact all of us were just walking towards the entrance. But the crowd was too much that it seems like we’re lining up for something.

A long walk to the entrance.
This time they separate the exhibition into several halls or ballrooms. The biggest hall was the combination of hall 1,2 & 3 as well as the combination of hall 4,5 & 6. These “two” great halls hold the most exhibitions from the smallest hardware like the thumb drive to the huge 29” flat LCD display. Yes. The halls were huge.

I see Machines! I love Mac.

I saw few floppy disks for sale. For real?

Hanging MP4 players. They’re quite nice though.

They even have chess competition. But why?

A view of KLCC and Mandarin Oriental while on my way back home.

Passing through the KLCC park is better then walking indoors. At least to get a breath of fresh air.
I don’t know when will I be able to go to PC Fair again. Next year maybe? I just hope I can get some extra income end of this year so that I can get a new PC for home use. I am now without any computer (at home). Which is adnormal because I’m never without a PC for the past 10 years or so. *Sigh*
Till the next PC Fair then…

The last time Geena was in town, we went out and about to KL city. Shopping, shopping and more shopping. There goes my $.

To most of us, he’s another blind man. But to me, he someone special. He’s got talent. Even without the sense of sight, he plays melodic tunes from his electric keyboard. People would think he can’t sing well, but how wrong they are. Once I heard him sang a song by Eric Clapton, Tears in Heaven. It brought tears in my eyes. Not only because he sings well, but because he sang from his heart. We don’t know what’s going on in his mind, or what happened in his life in younger days and how much suffering he had. But he sang it as though he expressed his feelings through his songs. I love to sit in the area listening to his songs. Every notes, every words and every stroke of the keyboard touched my heart. He’s an inspiration for all who thinks that life is nothing after a downfall. There’s always something special in every human being. All you need to do, is bring it out.
That’s why he’s special.
