KL Revisited

Geena’s family came for a visit from Sarawak. They will be staying in KL till December and will only be going back to Sarawak after the new year. I’m kinda excited to have them here so that I can show them around. It’s not that they haven’t been here before but this time we will have more time to go places.

KLIA4
Still waiting at the arrival hall.

Now that Raya is nearing, I will be spending my time with my family instead. Perhaps I will take Geena’s family to my house for Raya. I guess Aidilfitri in KL is much different than in Sarawak. I’ll take more photos and paste them here later.

Gotta continue my work for now…darn…

Playing with Themes

I got nothing much to do today so I thought of changing and evaluating a few themes for Wordpress. I picked this one for now becoz of the simplicity of the design. Actually, this particular theme comes standard with Wordpress installation. Anyway, I still love my previous theme but I’ll stick to this one for now just to test it out.

Perhaps I will change to another theme when I find something better…

Note: Changed back to the old theme…for now. *sigh*

Twister almost formed in JB!

Twister_jb

I got this through an email. A photo of an almost formed twister (tornado) can be seen clearly. This happened in Johor Bharu. Anyone recognise the surrounding areas / buldings?

A visit to the doctor and funny incidents

I was diagnosed with food poisoning yesterday after my buka puasa in Hartz Chicken Buffet the night before. Damn, looks like I won’t be going there again for a very long time. I lost my appetite for food right now. I hope this is won’t last long.

I went over to the clinic and got my medicine and MC, although I’m at work right now. Doesn’t matter la, I still got loads of work to get done.

The doctor said that I should get 100 plus isotonic drink to replace the salt in my body. It works though. Just like young coconut juice. It will cool your fever down and relief headache.

Anyway, while I was at 7–eleven yesterday to buy the 100 plus after my visit to the doctor, I can’t help but laughing at one funny incident with one of the customers.

While I was waiting in line…

Customer: “Mintak Dunhill 14 satu” (Can I have the Dunhill 14s pack.)

Cashier: “Nak yang besar ke yang kecik?” (Big or small?)

Customer: “I nak yang 14 punya” (I want the 14s one)

Cashier: “Yelah, yang kecik ke besar?” (Yeah I know, big or small?)

Me: ….  ….

FYI, there’s only 2 sizes now….14s and 20s. I guess the cashier must’ve gone blurr, especially during this puasa month.

This also reminds me of one incident that happened with me and my best buddy Ron long time ago in Sunway Pyramid.

He went to one of the shops to buy a nice cotton pants. But the pants on sale didn’t state the actual size on them but using the S, M, L and XL for sizing instead. He wanted to know the actual size (in inches) for the M size so he asked the sales girl. Here’s how it goes.

Ron: “Excuse me, can I know the exact size for this pants?”

Girl: “Oh, this is M size. Which one would you like to try?”

Ron: “I’d like to try this M size, but can you tell me the exact size for this pants?”

Girl: “It’s M”

Ron: “I know. But what is actual size for M?”

Girl: “Oh, it’s between S and L”

Me: (I walked away laughing as hard as I can.)

Ron:  <—– speechless. But he ended up laughing uncontrollably in the changing room.

That was one of the most hilarious moments of my life. There’s more, but I’ll put it up here later.
